“Social Impact Tracker”
“Friendly, helpful and accessible” were key qualities in the brief to produce a set of 50 icons for “Social Impact Tracker” – an original software package for groups in the community and voluntary sector. “SIT” is a secure database system with the ability report on a group’s “social impact.”
Groups can record quantitative and qualitative data on their participants and activities; perform their own self-evaluation, or measure progress of their clients through an integrated soft monitoring tool.
Reputation
The system is currently viewed as a model of good practice within the community and voluntary sector.
It has been endorsed by funders/stakeholders as an effective tool demonstrating accountability and an efficient method of providing necessary support documentation. It centralises data, reduces the time spent on manual records, and frees up more time/resources for programme delivery.
